  4. Business Inventory for Windows is a simple but valuable 
  5. inventory program ideal for the small business.  It can 
  6. be used for both retail sales and/or home mail order sales, 
  7. along with many other types of businesses.
  8.  
  9. This program has been compiled to run in both Windows 3.1 
  10. and Windows 95.  
  11.  
  12. There are 4 files included.
  13.  
  14. WININV.EXE     --- Business Inventory Executable
  15. BWCC.DLL       --- File needed by Windows 
  16.                (must copy to the windows\system directory)
  17. REGISTER.txt    --- Registration for to be printed an mailed in.
  18. README.txt    --- This file
  19.  
  20. Because there is not yet a windows installation program for 
  21. WinInv, it must be set up manually to work.

  23. ************** INSTALLATION *****************
  24. ***(1) move or copy the file BWCC.DLL to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM 
  25.     directory. If you have an older version of this DLL, 
  26.     back it up first.
  27.  
  28. ***(2) create a directory called WININV under the root directory
  29.  
  30. ***(3) Copy the WININV.EXE file into the WININV directory 
  31.     you just created.
  32.  
  33. ***(4) Create a new shortcut or program item from Windows to 
  34.     run WININV.EXE(note : It does contain its own icon) 
  35.     See your windows documentation if you are unsure of 
  36.     how to do this.

  39. The shareware version of this program contains all the features 
  40. of the registered version. The main difference is that the 
  41. shareware version of the program will only allow a maximum of 5 
  42. items to be added into the inventory.  Of course, the registered 
  43. version does not have this restriction.
